WE WILL RETAIN THE ZPL - CHIGODZIE

Nigerian striker Christopher Chigodzie says he is confident his team, Zesco United will retain the Zambian Premier League this year.

Speaking to www.zescounitedfc.com in an interview yesterday, the striker who joined the club in January this year says despite not having enough game time, he is happy to be at Zesco United.

“I have not really had game time but I have a wonderful coach who is determined to retain the league and he is not partial in team selection. So am sure I will get the game time very soon,” he said.

Chigozie says Coach George Lwandamina is a good coach who has assembled a team good enough to retain the league at the end of the year.

He said he is happy to be part of the Zambian league which he describes as almost similar to the Nigerian League.

“The Zambian league has a lot of experienced players and am happy to be part of it because there is a lot one can learn from here,” he said.
