With a place in the CAF African Champions, Zambian Super League champions Zesco United host Moroccan league champions Wydad Casablanca knowing that they have nothing substantial left to play for.

The next target of Zesco United's fine Champions League season — extending their all-time unbeaten home record against non-Zambian teams — will hope to be achieved against Wydad Casablanca. While Lwandamina insists he will not allow his players to drift through the final weeks of the campaign, he would be forgiven by Zesco United fans for ramping up his policy of giving youth an opportunity to shine.
If he does, Lwandamina will find more than a few worthy candidates in a Zesco United academy that boasts plenty of formidable youngsters in the names of Bernard Mapili, Lazarous Kambole, Matthews Nkowane, and Juma Liuzio.
