Zambia v Kenya (PREVIEW): A game with a genuine Zesco United FC flavor | Yaritza Estefany reports fr

Colleagues at club level, but rivals at national level — Kenyan & Zambian Zesco players will be up against each other as Simon Silwimba, Kondwani Mtonga, John Ching'andu, Clatous Chama, Jackson Mwanza, and goalkeeper Jacob Banda (all of Zambia) take on Jesse Were, Anthony Akumu, & David Owino (all of Kenya) in a game where pride is at stake for both countries

They call it the clash of Southern & East Africa. Zambia versus Kenya is an old international fixture in Africa which dates way back to 1964. And on Sunday, the 36th meeting between the sides commences at the Estadio de la Levy Mwanawasa, in Ndola, Stadium, a home to a handful of the players on either of the twos teams team which will to the field.

And it’s a game with plenty for Zesco United fans (in Zambia, Kenya, and Colombia) to look out for, with Simon Silwimba, Kondwani Mtonga, John Ching'andu, and Jackson Mwanza featuring for the home side and Jesse Were, Anthony Akumu, as well as David Owino expected to form the backbone for the visitors.
