Jackson Mwanza makes history as he becomes Zesco United's all-time scorer with 59 goals, beating

Jackson Mwanza is now Zesco United's topscorer in all competitions, and has surpassed Winston Kalengo who previously held that record. Mwanza's two goals yesterday against Mamelodi Sundowns were his 58th and 59th goals for Zesco United in all competitions.

Mwanza also became the second player at Zesco United to score 50 goals for the club since 2004. Last year Winston Kalengo became Zesco United's all-time topscorer when he reached 50 goals.

Mwanza was a goal behind as he had scored 49 goals last year.Mwanza's 50th goal was in the clubs 3-0 home win over Nkwazi FC. Mwanza would go onto add 9 more goals. Mwanza though is still behind the club's all-time in continental competitions with former Striker Enock Sakala having scored 7 goals while Jackson is now on 5 goals tied with Idriss Mbombo.
